So, I will take a look at how people come to the biblical texts and reach their conclusions. The point of this book is that Christians simply do not agree about many of the sexual issues that make headline news. I do not think anyone can get far in a discussion about morality and sexuality without discovering that someone’s interpretation of a religious belief has informed the discussion. I hope to expand the public conversation as well as offer practical suggestions for thinking about differences. My purpose in writing this book is to offer students, educators, psychotherapists, clergy, consultants, business leaders, and educated readers, research and analyses about the intriguing interconnections among beliefs about human sexuality, morality, and Christianity.
